Neither have reported a new case for almost three months.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Victoria was 4448 (an increase of 238 from Tuesday, July 14).
Of the 238 new cases, 29 are linked to outbreaks and 209 are under investigation.
In Victoria at the current time: 790 cases may indicate community transmission, 1931 cases are currently active, of the total cases of Coronavirus cases ever 4017 cases are from metropolitan Melbourne, while 305 are from regional Victoria and 2488 people have recovered.
Stage 3 “Stay at Home” restrictions are in force across metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire.
NSW had a total of 3328 confirmed cases (an increase of 13 from Tuesday).
Of the new cases, three are returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.
The further ten cases are associated with the Crossroads Hotel. Of these, six attended the venue, two are close contacts and two acquired their infection at a gym attended by a previously reported case.
Of the total 3328 confirmed cases, 2799 have recovered.
The number of people who have died in Victoria from coronavirus stands at 27 after woman in her 90s died in hospital from Coronavirus. NSW total number of Coronavirus deaths confirmed stood at 51.
More than 1,197,300 tests have been conducted to date in Victoria. In NSW more than 1,080,163 have been tested.
Although regional NSW and Victoria remain on limited restrictions, authorities remind people there are still only five reasons you should leave your home: food and supplies, medical care and care giving, exercise, work or education and visit friends, family and loved ones while adhering to the rules.
The message to regional Victorians remains the same – if you can stay at home, you must stay at home.
