As someone who grew up in Yarrawonga, director Carly Knowles said it was a chance to bring national recognition back home and show that world class beauty and skin services can thrive in regional Victoria.
“To be recognised for Best Salon Marketing & Best in Team Training for Australia and New Zealand, and Best Clinic 5 Treatment Rooms or more across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania is such a proud moment, not just for me, but for our whole Bella Pelle Body Clinic family,” Carly said.
“Over the past two years we’ve been so fortunate to take home several national awards, but this year’s recognition feels especially meaningful.
“It shows that our commitment to growth, education and genuine care for our clients hasn’t gone unnoticed.
“Winning Best in Team Training in particular is very special, because investing in our people has always been at the heart of what we do.”
“We don’t see these awards as just trophies on a shelf, they’re motivation to keep raising the bar, supporting our community, and continuing to deliver results and care that we’re proud of.”
Bella Pelle was established in 2007 and from humble beginnings, the clinic has grown into a state-of-the-art, 278sqm facility.
Under Carly’s leadership, the team has maintained its core philosophy of consistency in high quality service, training, and marketing that always feels authentic and being community driven.
“On the marketing side, while the strategies have evolved with trends, the heart of it has always been the same: real, funny, human content that makes people feel connected,” Carly said.
“We haven’t outsourced our voice, it’s still us, sharing stories, educating, celebrating wins, and being part of the conversation in a way that feels approachable.
“Internally, we’ve continued to prioritise education and team culture; training isn’t a one-off event at Bella Pelle, it’s ongoing, from technical skills through to customer care and business skills.
“That consistency is what people come back for, and I think that’s why the awards continue to come our way because we’ve built something that’s not just about treatments, but about people.”
CEO and founder of the ABIAs and Mocha Group Linda Woodhead was thrilled to honour the winners.
“This year’s awards have set a new benchmark,” Ms Woodhead said.
“The growth in entries, calibre of winners, and passion felt in the room proved the beauty industry in Australia and New Zealand is thriving.
“These awards don’t just recognise talent, they spotlight the resilience, innovation, and community spirit that make the Bella Pelle Body Clinic team so extraordinary.
I’m so excited to have them on board as ABIA ambassadors.”
“Bella Pelle was built in Yarrawonga, for Yarrawonga, and we’ve always seen ourselves as more than just a clinic,” Carly said.
“So, while the trophies have our clinic’s name on them, we feel they belong to the whole community.
“We’re so proud to bring this recognition back home to regional Victoria and prove that small towns can achieve big things when everyone rallies behind them.”
