The 2023 Partner’s Conference, which this year took place in Hobart for more than 200 pharmacist-owners, supplier partners, sponsors and guests, focussed on retail excellence, adaptability and flexibility in the face of change, and how purpose can be embedded across the organisation to ensure the values of Blooms The Chemist are celebrated.
Accomplished journalist and rural motherhood advocate Stephanie Trethewey, headlined the conference, offering the audience her unique perspective on resilience while retail experts, Professors Lawrence “Larry” J. Ring and John Strong also delivered expansive sessions covering strategic planning, productivity and excellence in retail.
Pharmacist at Blooms The Chemist Yarrawonga Nyssa Coombs said that the local staff are thrilled to have their efforts recognised at Blooms The Chemist Yarrawonga.
“We all genuinely look forward to going to work each day to help provide care to a community we love,” Ms Coombs said.
Blooms The Chemist CEO, Emmanuel Vavoulas, said that the key focus for this year’s Partner’s Conference was to empower the network and further embed their purpose across all operations, while ensuring the continuation to deliver on healthcare promises and win in retail.
“Sessions honoured our robust growth strategy that will support our current and future Pharmacists through ongoing industry disruption and change,” Mr Vavoulas said.
“We want to future-proof our network, and deliver sustainable financial growth for Blooms The Chemist pharmacies, and quality, affordable care and support for their communities.”
