The hospital's levee plans are progressing, with the proposal now in the process of approval before the tender process begins next month.

The local container deposit scheme previously run by Twist and Sprout has been taken over by the Lions club.
The initiative will be run in the Lions club yard from Tuesday, April 28.
Women of Worth program
The Salvation Army Rochester Women of Worth program will launch on Tuesday, April 21.
The program will be held every second Tuesday in the house beside the Salvation Army church.

The Rochester CWA will be hosting its branch meeting on Tuesday, April 21 from 1.30pm at the Rochester Library meeting room.

Social enterprise Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship has made contact with the RBN and is working on bringing a new event to Rochester.
Owner of Bush Biz Boost Amy Treacy will be the guest speaker at the RBN’s next meeting on Tuesday, May 26 where she will share some helpful information and tips for small business owners.
The monthly RBN business breakfast will also be held on Friday, May 8 at Rotunda Park.
The committee is also open to any feedback about this year's Rochester Mural Festival.
Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society
With the popularity of Live and Prosper: A Record of Progress in Rochester and District 1854 to 1954 the society is in the process of acquiring a grant to buy more copies of the book for residents to purchase.
Rochester Motoring Club
On Thursday, April 23 the car club will be at the Rochester and Elmore District Health Service.
REDHS residents will have the chance to ride in the vintage cars around town.

Corop’s Anzac Day service will be held at the Corop Community Centre on Saturday, April 25 from 9.30am to 10.30am.

On Saturday, May 16, the club’s annual Port and Pie night will be on at the old Rochester Court House.
Campaspe Shire Council
Council is looking to launch a ‘Settlement Plan’ project in Campaspe, beginning with Rochester.
The project aims to look at future growth and development opportunities for Rochester, in consultation with the local community.
