The structure plan provides guidance on land use, infrastructure, environmental management and transport networks to help achieve the township’s long-term vision.
The draft was developed following community engagement in June and July 2025, where Council received 151 submissions highlighting Bundalong’s natural beauty, river setting, village atmosphere and community spirit, key themes now reflected in the draft plan.
Chair administrator, Dr Graeme Emonson earlier consultation had made clear what people value most about Bundalong.
“We are now asking residents, landowners, and visitors to review the draft Structure Plan and tell us what matters most as we finalise the planning process,” he said.
The draft plan outlines housing, local economy and land use, landscape and environment, urban design and heritage, movement and transport, community facilities, and physical infrastructure.
Community members can review the draft Structure Plan and Background Report on Council’s engagement platform, request a printed copy or speak to Council staff at a community drop-in session.
