Calendars are a ‘blast from the past’

Two photographs featuring transportation from 1918 (a Rochester ambulance) and 1920 (Major’s Butchery vehicle) immediately capture the attention, along with the opening of the 1917 Campaspe bridge and a 1912 image of the Shamrock Hotel being built.

There is also an image of the students from Timmering Primary School in 1913 and of the Rochester Citizens Band from 1930.

Calendars are available at Bruce Hocking Motors, Rochester Sports Museum and the historical society. They cost $12.
