Police are calling for any more witnesses to the truck smash in Main Street, Rutherglen on Friday, March 15 at 4.50pm.
Driven by a 50-year-old from Western Australia, the truck collided with a car, shop front and power pole outside The Other Place cafe.
“The driver was alone in the truck,” Leading Senior Constable Glen Allardice of Highway Patrol told The Free Press.
“It appeared he left the road at low speed. If any further witnesses have any information, it would be appreciated if they’d come forward.”
