Capsized Malibu rescued by barby boat

A nearby barby boat had came to the rescue of the eight occupants who were seen to by ambulance crews at the boat ramp at the Mulwala Water Ski Club but all were uninjured.

The SES and civilian barby boat assisted in retrieving and towing the boat back to shore where the SES spent a couple of hours turning the boat over and returning it to land.

SES Unit Controller Yarrawonga Jason Forbor commented on Monday that “the main thing was that everyone is safe.”
