YMCLC executive Julie Clarke highlighted how small actions create meaningful change. “Spreading kindness, sparking ideas, and strengthening communities and at Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres across Australia, we see it happen every day,” Ms Clarke said.
“A friendly smile, a shared story, a new skill, these small moments add up to something big, sending waves of meaningful change that extends far beyond our local neighbourhoods.”
The YMCLC delivers essential community support through its Community Shower Program, Youth Engagement Program, Yarra Mul Carers Support Network and adult education courses.
“With a vision of empowering individuals to live their best life, YMCLC's purpose is to create a welcoming, accessible space where everyone can increase their life opportunities, choices and skills through inclusive and engaging programs,” Ms Clarke said.
“YMCLC proudly joins this celebration, honouring our commitment to supporting the local community through education, connection and social impact initiatives.”
