As if on cue, the clouds cleared just in time to welcome guests with sunshine on arrival, and again as they departed, a lucky break before gentle afternoon rain set in.
Held at St Cuthbert’s Anglican Church Hall, the event provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon filled with conversation, connection, and generosity.
The Helping Hands committee extended heartfelt thanks to St Cuthbert’s Church community for sharing their beautifully maintained hall, which set a warm and welcoming tone for the day.
Guests enjoyed a mouth-watering spread of homemade treats, lovingly prepared by a dedicated team of volunteers.
“We are so grateful to everyone who baked, helped serve, or assisted on the day; your efforts truly made the event a success,” Helping Hands representative Bronwyn Thomas said.
The afternoon featured raffles and a lucky door prize with generous contributions from Rich Glen Olive Estate, local businesses and community members whose support is deeply appreciated.
Thanks to the combined goodwill of attendees, sponsors and volunteers, $1800 was raised and will go directly toward supporting programs, equipment, and staff development initiatives at Yarrawonga Health.
The Helping Hands committee sincerely thanks the Yarrawonga–Mulwala community for its ongoing support and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for another wonderful afternoon next year.
