The $7 million renovation represents stage four of an overall eight-stage redevelopment of the club and features a fully refurbished bistro, a new all-day café, and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
ClubMulwala CEO Alan Rowe said he was extremely proud of what the club had achieved and was excited about the future stages of development.
“We have set out to future-proof this club. We need to continue looking for new revenue streams and upgrading our facilities,” Mr Rowe said.

The redevelopment was completed by Rubicon Design and Construct along with the many local trades and businesses that contributed to the project.
Mr Rowe said the days of a giant auditorium, poker machines in the main bar, and a bistro that looked “like a Coles café” were long gone.
He said the new precinct ensured the venue was a true destination rather than just a club and would create between 25 and 35 additional jobs, bringing total employment at ClubMulwala to nearly 180 staff.
Mr Rowe also thanked the club’s board of directors for their vision and leadership.
“Without their leadership, the club simply would not be where it is today, nor would our future be as secure as it is,” he said.

He also acknowledged staff for their patience and commitment throughout the redevelopment, noting it had been particularly challenging for casual employees.
Club Chairman Des O’Meara said the project was now 80 to 90 per cent complete and had faced several hurdles and delays over the past 12 months.
“I would like to thank my fellow directors for their vision, commitment and patience, and our incredible staff at ClubMulwala who have had to work under constantly changing conditions,” Mr O’Meara said.
“We are extremely excited about what lies ahead and are committed to several further stages of upgrades.”
The official opening concluded with the cutting of the ribbon by Mr O’Meara and the Albury MP Justin Clancy, followed by guest speaker and Australian Rules Football champion and media identity Graham Cornes OAM. Visiting Yarrawonga-Mulwala for the first time, Mr Cornes said he was “blown away” by the picturesque town.
The club will now move into the remaining stages of its overall redevelopment, including balcony and family area works in stage five, a new reception area in stage six, an expanded and redeveloped function space with relocated offices in stage seven, and the redevelopment of the Anzac Lounge in stage eight.
