The Yarrawonga Friends in Common Cancer Awareness Breakfast is back once again with ClubMulwala to host the breakfast on Wednesday, September 11 focusing on ovarian cancer awareness and prevention.

This year the guest speaker will be Dr. Tania Jones from Yarrawonga Denis Medical Clinic who will share some important information all about Ovarian Cancer from 8am.
Yarrawonga Friends in Common President Christine Merrett said the day is always a great success and the FIC committee look forward to seeing community members come along to learn more and help raise funds for this often undetected cancer.
“We love seeing our tradies at the breakfast and would encourage you all to take part in our special spinning wheel prize at 7.15am for a TRADIE hamper donated by Judds Yarrawonga and two petrol vouchers donated by Friends in Common,” Ms Merrett said.
“The FIC Committee would love you to come along and enjoy breakfast with friends while contributing to our great community organisation to assist us to continue to provide support for families touched by cancer.
“We wish to thank ClubMulwala for their support in hosting this event and providing a scrumptious breakfast for all as well as the Mulwala WaterSki Club for their generosity and kind donation of $800 which will go towards the purchasing of gifts from local businesses for the spinning wheel.”

There will be raffles and a spinning wheel on the day as well as a scrumptious hot and cold full buffet breakfast.

Breakfast will commence at 7am and continue through to 9am with tradies also most welcome.
Entry is $15 for adults and $5 for children with 20% of ticket sales to be donated to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Tickets will be on sale at the door of the Endeavour Room ClubMulwala on the day.
This event is proudly supported by ClubMulwala, Mulwala Water Ski Club and Yarrawonga Health.
Many local businesses have also generously donated some beautiful gifts for the Mega raffle with tickets to be on sale beforehand at Woolworths and on the day at the event on behalf of Yarrawonga Friends in Common
Local businesses are also urged to adorn their shop fronts in teal decorations in honour of ovarian cancer awareness, prevention and in support of the cancer breakfast.
