Coaches will replace Seymour Line trains for the entire journey from Saturday, March 9, to Sunday, March 24, due to V/Line maintenance and infrastructure upgrade works.

V/Line asks passengers to allow an additional 60 minutes for their journey.

V/Line also has a few reminders before boarding the coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
  • No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
  • Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer St, opposite Little Bourke St.
  • Customers with accessibility needs, please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
  • For the latest up-to-date information follow @VLine_Seymour on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Shepparton Line trains will be replaced by coaches for all or part of the journey from Saturday, March 9 to Sunday, April 14.

Coach replacement services will be a mix of express, semi-express, and stopping at all stations.
