In his side’s match against Seymour, he landed awkwardly on his right leg and suffered horrendous damage, including multiple fractures to his fibia, tibia and ankle, along with significant tendon and muscle damage.
To help him, Jess Scoble from Burnt Butter and Mustafa Hassani from Kyabram Kebabs decided to donate $1 from every regular coffee and kebab sold to help Mr Campbell, and to set up money tins at the registers.
Their joint effort raised $2700 to help Mr Campbell manage his bills.
Mr Campbell said he was immensely grateful for the support and generosity shown by everyone.
