Melbourne’s acclaimed cosmic country outfit is on its way to Seymour as part of a regional Victorian tour.
Performing their latest album, This is not a Dream, ARIA award-winning singer and songwriter Matt Walker and his bandmates Shane Reilly, Roger Bergodaz and Hugo Meggitt will perform at the Tallarook Mechanics Institute on Saturday, March 19.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.15pm start.

Black Dog Ride
Registrations are open for this year’s edition of the Black Dog Ride.
Black Dog Ride is uniting under one banner to amplify a national message of hope, prevention and awareness.
The ride will depart from the Royal Hotel in Seymour on March 20.

Seymour Working Sheepdog Trials
Head on down to Kings Park, Seymour, from Friday, March 25 to Sunday, March 27, for the 56th annual Seymour Working Sheepdog Trials.
Each trial, dogs have 15 minutes to work sheep trough a gap, race, bridge and pen.
The best will compete in the finals on Sunday.
“We have a good number of competitors,” Working Sheepdog Association secretary Colin Davidson said.

CFA District 22 Championships
CFA District 22 Championship Committee will be holding the CFA District 22 Championship, at Mooroopna Recreational Reserve on Sunday, March 20.
CFA Brigades in north east Victoria from Strathmerton to Wodonga will compete on the day in 6 events, each re-enacting common truck/hose field operations.
This is the 50th year that this event has been held, and a great opportunity for CFA Brigades to compete against each other and to exchange time saving firefighting techniques.

‘A Woman’s Journey’ hosted by the Zonta Club of Mitchell
Three successful Mitchell women will share their stories as part of ‘A Woman’s Journey’, on Friday March 18.
Hosted by the Zonta Club of Mitchell, Broadford Football and Netball club president Bonnie Cavanagh, North Central Review general manager and editor Lauren Duffy, and Mitchell Shire councillor Rhonda Sanderson will speak at the event celebrating International Women’s Day.
Zonta President Robin Audeman said the evening is set to be inspirational for those in attendance.
“Each of them are local women who have had success, and it’s an evening to hear their stories and be inspired,” she said.
“Their journeys and career paths are very interesting.”
Tickets are $30, and will be available at the door. All proceeds go to helping women in the community.
