The crashed vehicle was reported to police by a passing motorist about 7.30am last Wednesday.
The passing motorist alerted authorities after spotting a rolled vehicle off the roadway near the Caloola Rd intersection.
The engine was still running, but no driver or occupants were seen nearby.
After checking the immediate area, the motorist contacted police, who initiated a full emergency response.
It sparked an air and land search for the driver, who could not be located.
Police were concerned the driver may have been injured, and lost in the Womboota area.
The major two-day search operation continued for two days.
Ambulance crews, Fire and Rescue NSW, VRA and SES volunteers joined police in an extensive land search across surrounding farmland, sheds and structures in an effort to locate any injured person who may have walked from the scene.
The operation continued into Thursday, with additional resources brought in to widen the search area.
An air search was also deployed, but despite the combined efforts of all agencies, no person connected to the vehicle was found.
After consultation with search specialists, the operation was formally stood down late Thursday afternoon.
Police examined the vehicle and, based on the condition of the crash site and the thoroughness of the search, have determined it is unlikely that anyone suffered serious injury requiring rescue.
Investigations are now focused on the circumstances of the crash and the origin of the vehicle, including whether it may have been stolen.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Moama Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
