The annual street trading, market and community day brings together local businesses, visiting market stalls, community groups and families for a day of shopping, food and entertainment along Allan St from 9am to 5pm.
Organised by the Kyabram Chamber of Commerce, the event features street entertainment, live music from local performers and schools, a jumping castle, kids' activities, face painting and sausage sizzles.
Shoppers can also take advantage of free parking throughout the day.
Kyabram Chamber of Commerce vice-president Susie Bennet said the event was a highlight on the local calendar.
“It is the most important day of our town’s shopping calendar,” she said.
“It brings people to Kyabram, and it has a really good atmosphere.”
Mrs Bennet said the market was a popular starting point for Christmas shopping.
“It usually starts the Christmas shopping for a lot of people,” she said.
“There are a lot of bargains in town.”
Chamber of Commerce member stores will trade on the street alongside visiting stallholders.
“You will find that the stores that are members of the Kyabram Chamber of Commerce go out on to the street,” Mrs Bennet said.
“I know we certainly do at Intersport Kyabram, and I know that other stores do as well.
“There are other stallholders that come in and set up their stalls as well, craft market-type stalls, community information and barbecues, and local food vendors.
“Everyone gets involved.”
