It brought to an end a week-long Appreciation Week, included on the school curriculum to recognise the roles of teachers, administration and support staff, parents and, of course, the student population.
St Joseph’s principal Liz Trewick said a series of events during the week culminated in the student celebration, with activities and a sausage sizzle for the final day of term at the school on Friday.
“We had a morning tea for the staff, the parents received a bookmark from students and we offered our appreciation of the students with lots of fun on Flanny Friday,” Ms Trewick said.
