In the lead up to Christmas, the club has welcomed a refreshed leadership team and a suite of improvements designed to make the club more welcoming than ever.
At the centre of these changes is the introduction of a second courtesy bus, which will now be a daily service.
Deni RSL CEO Peter Duncan said the service is about reliability and accessibility.
“The second bus will be running seven days a week, providing a reliable service to our members, as well as catering for tourism,” he said.
The new 12 seater bus provides extra capacity to pick-up and drop-off members and patrons free of charge throughout the club’s newly extended club opening times of 9.30am until close.
The expanded transport service is just one of several initiatives aimed at giving locals and visitors more reasons to spend time at the RSL.
With consistent entertainment, such as live music and a daily ‘happy hour’ from 5pm to 7pm, the club is positioning itself as a lively destination where people can relax, connect, and enjoy themselves.
With Christmas just around the corner, the RSL is also getting festive.
Tonight, it will have 101 hams to be won in the raffle, followed by a seafood raffle tomorrow. Both raffles start at 7pm.
There will also be a draw-until-won membership draw valued at $10,000 at the club tonight.
You must be on the premises with your members card at the time of the draw to be eligible to win. Don’t miss your chance.
Helping Mr Duncan drive the changes, and “giving people a reason to visit the RSL”, are two new managers with great experience in clubs and entertainment.
Jamie Hicks has made the move from Mulwala to join the Deni RSL team as operations manager Jamie Hicks, while finance manager Lucas Walker brings his expertise from Echuca.
