This year the focus is on pancreatic cancer awareness and prevention.
Yarrawonga Friends in Common president Christine Merrett said the day was always a great success and the FIC committee looked forward to seeing community members learn more and help raise funds for this often undetected cancer.
“We love seeing our tradies at the breakfast and would encourage you all to come and fuel up for your day, take part in our special spinning wheel prize for a hamper donated by Judds Yarrawonga and seven fantastic prizes in the mega raffle including Essenza Day Spa packages, Weber Q BBQ, a Stone Grill voucher, Seeliger Real Estate hamper, $200 petrol voucher donated by Friends in Common and a Bunnings Kinchrome tradie lunch kit,” Ms Merrett said.
“We wish to thank ClubMulwala for their support in hosting this event and providing a scrumptious breakfast as well as the Mulwala WaterSki Club for their generosity and kind donation of $800, which will go towards purchasing gifts from local businesses for the spinning wheel.”
Breakfast starts at 7am through to 9am with tradies most welcome.
Entry is $15 for adults and $5 for children with 20 per cent of ticket sales to be donated to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Tickets will be on sale at the door of the Endeavour Room ClubMulwala on the day.
This event is proudly supported by ClubMulwala, Mulwala Water Ski Club and Yarrawonga Health.
Many local businesses have also generously donated some beautiful gifts for the Mega raffle with tickets to be on sale at Woolworths and on the day.
Local businesses are also urged to adorn their shop fronts in purple decorations in honour of pancreatic cancer awareness, prevention and in support of the cancer breakfast.
