Kids were treated to an extra dose of chocolate on Sunday, April 5, as hundreds took to Billabong Ranch in hot pursuit of Easter eggs.

Sixty kilograms of mini-eggs disappeared in minutes as excited children searched the playground area, discovering chocolate treasures hidden in the grass, nestled in trees and tucked into play equipment.

Billabong owner Richard Acquisto said the free event provided a good opportunity for visiting families to get among the community, as well as provide a reprieve financially for locals who may not have been able to afford chocolate eggs this year.
