It’s that time of year again, Easter eggs, bunny ears and racing rubber ducks.
The annual duck race along Thompson’s Beach in Cobram returns this Sunday, April 5, with the race set to start at 3pm and food and live music from 11am.
Cobram Barooga Business and Tourism chairperson and duck race coordinator Nicky Goldsworthy said it was a “good, fun, day out”.

“We release 2000 numbered rubber duckies off the old Barooga bridge, and they float their merry way down to an imaginary finish line to our ‘duck wranglers,’” she said.
Ms Goldsworthy said there would be plenty of family-friendly activities including a sandcastle building competition, bouncy castles, egg and spoon races and sack races.
She said both Dutch Thunder Wildlife Rescue and Skill Zone will be there, along with plenty of food trucks and live music, including Andrew Wishart.
