After the tragic death of Andrew Goldman, a family tradition was reinstated.

Trucks and machinery were parked up in the paddocks of Andrew Goldman Excavations on the Murray Valley Highway Burramine, before Christmas, something that Mr Goldman used to do every year up until about five years ago.
Mr Goldman died in a helicopter crash in the NSW Southern Highlands in December last year.
Daughter Latecia Goldman said the family decided to bring back the tradition, which had only stopped because the Andrew Goldman Excavations business had grown.
“The line-up was all for him, it’s what he used to do. There was about 100 trucks and pieces of equipment in the paddock,” she said.
“We put all the excavator booms up and tagged the photos on Facebook with #boomsupforgoldy.
“We started bringing the equipment back on Monday, December 14 and Friday, December 18 was the final day for our staff for the year.
“But we left some crushers and screens in our quarries and pits around the area, they were too large to bring back.”
Excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, truck and dogs, belly dumpers, dump trucks, water carts, floats, screening and crushing equipment, rollers and concrete trucks were in the paddock.
Mr Goldman was the managing director at Andrew Goldman Excavations and a recently-elected Moira Shire Councillor.
Mr Goldman and his wife Tania started the excavation business in 2002 with one excavator and the business now has more than 100 pieces of equipment and machinery.
The business has more than 50 staff, including administration, truck drivers, machine operators and mechanics, and has received accolades from the Civil Contractors Federation in the past.
Mr Goldman is survived by Tania and children Trent, Latecia and Shaun, who will continue the business operations.
“We’re lucky to have the company as something to continue his legacy, recently we’ve built a new workshop at Burramine, because we do all our own work on machinery,” Latecia said.
“We want to thank not only our staff for stepping up, but the community and our clients for their love and support.”
