Parents, guardians and carers are encouraged to register their child online via Greater Shepparton City Council’s website.
Kindergarten for three- and four-year-olds is free or low cost for families that meet the eligibility criteria.
In Greater Shepparton, more than 30 kindergarten services are offered across the area, which helps cater to the individual needs of children and their families.

Council facilitates kindergarten registrations for most funded kindergarten programs in Greater Shepparton.
Families will be allocated a place with a service provider in line with the ‘Access Criteria Guidelines’.
Council manager of early years operation and reform Stacey East said families should register their child to secure their place for 2027.
“Kindergarten programs are essential to a child’s development,” she said.
“Parents and carers across Greater Shepparton are encouraged to visit council’s website, find out more information and register their child to secure their place in kindergarten for 2027.”
Registrations are open until August 7.
