For decades Janine’s husband Peter would fly along Lake Mulwala, ski-racing at any chance he could.
The Taylor family cherished many weekends camped along Lake Mulwala skiing on the lake, playing golf or enjoying a barbeque all together.
Although their time together was short, Mrs Taylor’s oldest grandchild Tate had forged an unbreakable bond with his grandfather.
She said her story was both in memory of her late husband, and a message for people to make memories with their family, while they still can.
“I think it's nice to try and get people to spend time with their families and make memories like the ones Tate and Peter had,” Mrs Taylor said.
“Its also for Tate to look back at, and try to remember those memories he had with his Pa.”
Tate and Papa’s Memories was on sale at the Lake Mulwala Skiclub last Friday.
Five dollars from each copy sold was donated to the Yarrawonga Friends in Common, who financially support people across the community battling terminal illness.
