Rennie had their seventh win of the season defeating Katunga by 57 points at Katunga.
The Hoppers could never fully shake a youthful and persistent Swans outfit but were able to win all four terms.
After Katunga kicked the first goal the Hoppers began to share the ball well with Smith and Fountain the catalysts with Ferguson, Smith, Brooks and Strawhorn hitting the scoreboard in an open, free flowing match.
A 20-point break was extended as Welsh continued his stellar form in the ruck, Wolfe was unflappable in defence and Bruce was rat-like cunning across half forward.
The third quarter saw the match tighten up with both sides struggling to kick goals.
Ferguson was providing a target, with Bigger taking over in the middle and Porter was picking up the tempo in his first game of the season.
The final term saw Sudholz finish a fine match showing his aerial skill and running capacity as the Hoppers kicked 2 goals to 1 for the term.
Strawhorn and Willett kicked 3 goals each.
Best was Sudholz with incentives to Welsh and Bruce.
Rennie stay in fifth position.

Dodge was strong at half back, Smithy as ever creative on ball, with Garner in the back pocket and Rae on his wing showing out.

A Grade
Katunga 40 defeated Rennie 30
Unfortunately, A grade lost to the third placed Katunga on Saturday. The girls got off to a slow start, and whilst the margin was small for most of the game the Hoppers just couldn’t get in front.
Some unforced errors and inaccuracy in the ring were the difference between the teams.
Still lots of positives to take away; some really good passages of play down the court and in the ring.
And yet another solid defensive performance.
Looking forward to improving in these areas and putting in a solid performance next week.
Awards: Terminus Hotel – Tessa Sexton and Bella Pelle – Maddie McInness.
B Grade
Katunga 60 defeated Rennie 34
This game was all about learning for the B team from last Saturday’s performance. Everyone made better decisions on the court and moved the ball steadily through the middle.
Half time saw few positional changes which gave the team a little lift.
Missing some key defenders, the girls worked tirelessly in the ring and shooters kept working the ball to find the best spot to shoot.
Took a lot away from this game and looking forward to one more game before the two byes.
Awards: Yarrawonga Hotel – Kaitlyn Ackerly, Terminus Hotel – Hannah Douglass, Lake Mulwala Bakery – Jess Westwood and One Zach – Nada Nolen.

C Reserve
Katunga 19 defeated by Rennie 32
Coming up against second on the ladder, the girls were braced for a tough game.
The leadership of Tanya (as always) was a standout with her talking and encouragement to all on the court.
The defence end worked brilliantly by adjusting, moving and providing great contests.
The mid court and attack end were able to adapt to changes with some lovely feeds into the goalies. Just got to keep up the talk, and training.
