A former Deni resident, Hurley has toured with his music internationally.
As a result he’s shared the stage with the likes of John and June Carter Cash, Johnny Ray, Woody Herman, Don Williams and Johnny O’Keefe.
His shows are the ultimate country rock concert, favouring classics like Rockin’ All Over The World, Old Time Rock & Roll, Running Bear, Peggy Sue and Oh Boy.
And then there’s his own songs, including the number one hit Down in the Riverina.
Hurley loves to come back to Deni as often as he can to perform.
Even before he was known for his music, Hurley was an alderman with the former Deniliquin Council, ran the Tatt’s Corner Service Station (End and Wellington Sts, Deni), was a roustabout and presser in local shearing sheds and a radio announcer with 2QN.
Hurley will bet at his piano at the Deni RSL from 2pm this Sunday, for the special Mother’s Day show.
