There will be lots of fun activities for the kids, chicken races, market stalls, food vans, a licensed bar, showbags, and an outdoor cinema.

The postponed Australia Day fireworks and all the trimmings have been moved to March 28.
The evening will start at 6.30pm at Luke Park, beside the lake. Take your rugs and chairs etc, and make sure you leave your dogs in a safe and secure place.

In between the above activities, keen and upcoming fisher folk in the region will be pleased to know another Fishing Day will be held at The Cape from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, March 21.
There will be categories of junior, intermediate, adult and mystery length, with great prizes for the various winners.
A free barbecue and cold drinks will be on offer, but numbers would be appreciated for catering purposes.

Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary will hold its first meeting for 2026 tomorrow, February 26, at 2pm in the meeting room at the hospital.
