The declarations were completed at Albury and Wangaratta electorate offices at noon on Friday.
Albury Young Citizen of the Year and Greens candidate Eli Davern claimed top billing on the Farrer ballot paper at the draw and Australian Labor Party candidate Darren Cameron is at the other extreme in eighth.
Former Albury mayor Amanda Duncan-Strelec was a late nomination and is running as an independent. Ms Duncan-Strelec spent 16 years on Albury Council and served as the council’s first female mayor in 1995 and has previously stood as an independent candidate in the NSW Legislative Assembly for Albury in 1995 and in the House of Representatives for Farrer in 1998.
Animal Justice Party candidate Angel Aleksov claimed top spot in the random draw for Indi’s ballot paper order. Liberal candidate Ross Lyman was drawn out last of the 10 candidates. Incumbent and Independent candidate Helen Haines will be listed second on the May 21 ballot paper.
It will be Indi' largest election field since 2013, when 11 candidates battled for the seat, which Independent Cathy McGowan secured from the then incumbent Liberal Sophie Mirabella.
The candidates will appear on the Farrer ballot paper in the following order: Eli Davern (The Greens), Sussan Ley (Liberal Party), Amanda Duncan-Strelec (independent), Paul Britton (Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party), Ian Christopher Roworth (Liberal Democrats Party), Richard Francis (Pauline Hanson's One Nation), Julie Ramos (United Australia Party) and Darren Cameron (Australian Labor Party).
The list of Indi candidates, in order on the ballot paper are: Angel Aleksov (Animal Justice Party), Helen Haines (Independent), Lachlan O'Connell (Derryn Hinch's Justice Party), Stephen Williams (United Australia Party), Beth Stevens (Pauline Hanson's One Nation), Benjamin Gilbert (Greens), Liz Fisher (Nationals), Nadia David (Labor), Julian Fidge (Liberal Democrats), Ross Lyman (Liberal).
