Craig McFarlane was arrested by Murray River Police District officers at a property in Bunnaloo on Thursday.
Police allege the 34-year-old was involved in the theft of a 1987 Toyota LandCruiser, valued at more than $100,000, from an Annesley St factory in Echuca last week.
The vehicle was stolen after thieves forced open a roller door at the factory between 8.30pm on Wednesday and 7am Thursday.
It was found near Mathoura about 9.30am Thursday, before police arrested McFarlane later that day.
He was taken to Deniliquin Police Station and charged with not stopping during a police pursuit; speeding; receiving property stolen outside NSW greater than $15,000; unlicensed driving; and carrying a cutting weapon upon apprehension.
He was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court on Friday.
McFarlane was remanded in custody and is due to face Albury Local Court on September 16.
Police are still investigating the original break-in and are appealing for information from anyone who saw the LandCruiser, suspicious activity around the Annesley St factory or has relevant CCTV.
