The award was presented to facilitators Paula Fernandez and Brenda Spilva who also won the Excellence in Healthcare, Disability and Social Care category.
The business community gathered to celebrate the very best of local enterprise at Thompsons Beach, one of the region’s most iconic destinations on the Murray River.
Guests arrived to canapes and a selection of locally sourced beverages, prepared by the team at Max’s at the Beach with the event presented by Premier Protection Services.
They then settled in for an evening of entertainment from MC and comedian Dave O’Neil, who kept the room laughing as the winners were revealed.
This year, 11 category winners were recognised for their innovation, value and professionalism, across industries from hospitality and retail to manufacturing, healthcare and horticulture.
Each stood out among a strong field of finalists, showcasing the very best this region has to offer.
Moira Shire chair administrator, Dr Graeme Emonson said it was an excellent night celebrating local businesses.
“The Business Awards gives the community a wonderful chance to pause, come together and celebrate the people behind the businesses that keep our towns thriving,” Dr Emonson said.
“Every one of our winners should be incredibly proud of their efforts, congratulations to you all.”
