Earlier this year, Moretto Building was appointed to construct the $12.47 million stadium. Since then, design and approvals have been completed, and preliminary earthworks were carried out on the site at Victoria Park in November and December.
Construction of the stadium will continue throughout 2026, with completion expected in early 2027.
The stadium will feature two courts, versatile indoor spaces, change facilities, seating areas, and amenities for players and spectators.
It will provide a state-of-the-art facility for year-round sports and activities, catering to all ages, abilities, and interests.
The facility will also integrate with the surrounding outdoor netball courts, creating a connected, community-focused sports hub.

Moira Shire chair administrator Graeme Emonson said the stadium would enhance both existing and future sports opportunities, addressing a gap in Yarrawonga’s sporting facilities.
“The Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium will be built for everyone, a place where sport, health, and community come together,” Dr Emonson said.
Moretto Building, a privately owned and operated firm, has delivered construction services across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales for over 60 years.
The company has extensive experience with large commercial projects, including the second stage of construction at Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) in Shepparton and the six-stage development of St Anne’s College in Kialla.
Director Frank Moretto described the stadium as “a great community project to pick up” and said the team had “plenty of local trades on board.”
While the stadium’s price tag is larger than previous projects, Mr Moretto believes the build will be relatively straightforward.
“It’s not a complex build, it’s just big,” he said.
