The placing of soft fall material was completed by Federation Council employees for Mulwala’s Apex Park playground in the week before Christmas in what will be a major upgrade at the popular park this year.
Toilet renovations completed beforehand involved the work of local firms Kennedys, Purtles and O’Bryans regarding building, electrical and painting work.
The work, and much more to follow, especially in respect of the enclosed lake pool, is part of the NSW Government’s ‘Places to Swim’ grant program announced in March 2023, with an amount of $484,950 for the Apex Park-located project.
The work is expected to be completed by April.
