Permit issued for new non-government school

The permit authorises the land to be used for a primary school, as well as the construction of a bin storage area and display of business signage.

The school will have a limit of 150 students from Prep to Year 5 and 12 staff members, with students split into two groups for break times to ensure a limit of 85 students in the outdoor area at a time.

The school will operate from 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday, with outside-of-school-hours care operating from 7am and until 5.30pm.

Before the approval, the application for the permit received 16 objections from the community.
