Brazen theft
Four mag wheels and tyres were stolen from a driveway in McLean Street overnight on January 30.
Vehicles damaged
Unknown offenders damaged two vehicles parked in a driveway of a Telford Street address overnight, February 5 to 6. If you have any information, please call Yarrawonga Police on 57443641.
Hogans Road break-in
Offenders kicked in the front door of a premises in Hogans Road with an amount of cash stolen in the evening of February 7. A vehicle was also damaged by offenders leaving the address.
Thieves off to court
Cobram Detectives with help from Shepparton Police charged and remanded a 26-year-old Cobram male charged with burglary, theft of motor vehicle, theft, weapon and drug offences on Friday, February 7.
These offences occurred across Cobram, Yarrawonga, Numurkah and Shepparton. He was remanded to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates Court on February 21.
Cobram Detectives with help from Benalla Detectives arrested a 29-year-old Benalla male charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle and theft, which occurred in Benalla and Tungamah on Monday, February 10.
He was due to face the Shepparton Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Bridge closure for maintenance
The Yarrawonga Mulwala main traffic bridge will be temporarily closed next Tuesday, February 18 for survey work to be completed.
The bridge will be closed between 6am and 8pm on Tuesday whilst Transport NSW inspect the bridge to identify priorities for future maintenance work.
A detour will be in place for motorists to travel down the alternative route of weir road.
Pedestrians will still be able to access the bridge during the works with motorists advised to allow extra travel time.
