Red Hats Victoria put Yarrawonga on notice when they rolled into town to celebrate female companionship.

The non-for-profit organisation unites women over the age of 50 across Australia to take part in royal shenanigans while creating new, meaningful friendships.
The group prioritise fun and fashion as they embark on adventures while dressed to the nines.
If the Hatters are not at Southern Cross Station making it a dance-floor, you might catch them at a morning picnic, high tea or dinner, with the potential for a spontaneous twist.
Chapters from Cobram, Tocumwal, Corowa and Wangaratta arrived at the Tame Cafe in Yarrawonga for a luncheon fitting of royalty.
More than 35 Hatters stole the spotlight, each enjoying the company as much as the lunch and beverages.
The Red Hat members photographed all together after a fabulous lunch.
Event host ‘Queen’ Sue Snelling said the event was well cherished by those involved.
“Getting everyone together to enjoy themselves, have a laugh and have fun, is what this here today is all about,” Queen Sue said.
‘Lady Di Queen’ Pomkiwoz Munro said the organisation wanted to establish a chapter in Yarrawonga.
“If there are enough people interested in starting a Yarrawonga chapter, the local Queens will be happy to come and set it up,” Lady Di said.
