Rennie FNC rallies for Beau’s family

Rennie Football Netball Club is mourning the sudden loss of one of their own, Beau Hornridge who died on Thursday morning.

The club has started a GoFundMe to help support Beau’s fiancé, Britt and their three young children, Zara, Harper and Judd.

Beau was a player and sponsor of RFNC and the Reserves Player’s Player in 2021.

In a Facebook post this week, the club described him as “a ripper”.

“He certainly had a crack when he played but more importantly, he was great to be around, up for a chat and laugh,” it read.

Tim Dykes remembered how rapt Beau was to become a dad and how proud he was.

“He was just one of those guys you loved having on your team … he will be sadly missed.”
