In a match where neither sides ladder position was going to change the whole match was played between the arcs with penetrating play into the forward line a rarity.

The Hoppers kept chipping away with Ednie and Bigger on ball and Sudholz at half forward winning a lot of the ball but in a match where only 10 goals were kicked both teams were happy to hear the final siren.

The three’s forgot to turn up in the first term and were suddenly 8 goals down. They lost by 8 goals. Tom Elliott up forward was a revelation kicking 4, Hick and McInness were enormous and great to have Bott in the ruck who will be a finals weapon.

The under 14’s have ended the season undefeated with a 61-point victory. They struggled in the slippery and freezing conditions to get any cohesion until the final term.
Axel kicked 4 goals, Ben Howell played his best game of the season and Biggsy and Slatts were solid. Rennie now have a week off.
