Rich River Golf Club has announced the construction of new premium accommodation, which is set to open next year.

The accommodation, which has been in the planning stage for four years, will be called ‘Reflections’.
The official announcement was made on Thursday, September 18, with key stakeholders and community members gathering at the club’s East Course where the proposed accommodation will overlook.
After club chief executive Shane Gloury welcomed guests to the ceremony, president Susan Hull addressed the crowd.

Ms Hull said the new facility would meet growing demands and ensure the club’s sustainability.
“Reflections will add a high-quality accommodation to our club, and will also meet the growing demand for places to stay on the course here at Rich River,” she said.
“Our new facility will also provide a vital new revenue stream that will help ensure the club remains strong and sustainable for many, many decades to come.
“This is one of the most exciting developments in the club’s history.”

The four-star multimillion-dollar project will be a three-storey building featuring 23 suites that will overlook the lakes and the East Course’s holes 15, 16 and 18.
As demand for accommodation continues to grow, Reflections will have the capacity to expand to 38 rooms.
The majority of the facility’s construction will take place off site through Victorian prefabricated building company PreBuilt.
Assembling the facility off site will speed up the construction time frame while minimising disruptions at the club.

To give guests an idea of what rooms at Reflections would look like, PreBuilt transported a ready-made modular unit to Rich River for guests to explore.
The rooms will be spacious and modern, complete with a balcony and roomy en suite.
Guests were also invited to ride a scissor lift to see the view from the height of the top floor of the future accommodation.
Using a scissor lift, guests were able to imagine what guests of the future accommodation would see from the top level.

Ms Hull said Reflections would be a valuable addition to both the club and the wider community.
“This development will benefit not only our club, but the entire Echuca-Moama Murray River region,” she said.
“More visitors staying longer means more people enjoying local restaurants, attractions and the unique Echuca-Moama experience.”
