The evening reflected on a year of diverse cultural and artistic events, strong community partnerships, and a sound financial result, affirming ATA’s vital role in fostering arts and culture across Moira Shire.
The committee paid tribute to Andrew Spilva, Nancy Wright and Peter MacPherson, valued members and friends lost over the past year, acknowledging their valued contributions to ATA and the local arts community.

With a refreshed committee and renewed community enthusiasm, Across the Arts Yarrawonga Mulwala is planning an exciting 2026 program, including a major guest appearance by actor and entertainer Shane Jacobson in March.
ATA continued to strengthen its community connections this year, supporting local schools, creative groups and regional organisations.
This year featured several standout moments including the Dunggula Cultural Festival, Literary High Tea with author and playwright Dr Margaret Hickey, and a performance by Limelight Theatre Company adding a theatrical touch.
In February, ATA hosted tennis champion and mental health advocate Jelena Dokic, whose inspirational talk drew capacity crowds to two sold-out sessions at Club Mulwala, selling out within five hours of announcement.
The season closed with The Passion of St Nicholas, a RAV touring cabaret by Geraldine Quinn.
A highlight was the presentation of Life Membership badges to long-standing members Vivian Spilva and Liz Seeliger, recognising their exceptional dedication and continued involvement, and the induction of a new Life Member, Leonie Orr, recognising her years of outstanding service.
New life member, Leonie Orr was inducted at ATA’s AGM.
President Tanya Rose expressed gratitude to the committee, sponsors and local partners for their continued support, including Moira Shire Council, Club Mulwala, Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort, Rich Glen and several local businesses.
“It’s been an incredibly rewarding year,” she said.
“Our events have grown in reach and quality, our finances are strong, and our community partnerships are thriving.
“None of this would be possible without the passion and hard work of our volunteer committee and the ongoing support of our sponsors and members.”
Across the Arts continues to bring together artists, audiences and community members across the Yarrawonga-Mulwala region, celebrating creativity and connection through every event.
