Four students from Mulwala Public School appeared in Elevate the Stage in Sydney on Sunday, December 3.
Students Brodie Read, Dious Monrose, Finn Angwin and Nevaeh Rosmulder joined two students from Tamworth to showcase the talents of the signing choir orchestrated by Sue Dawson and led by Larry Monkerud.
Hosted by Nas Campanella and Kurt Fearnley AO, the 2 and ½ hour Elevate the Stage 2023 was a concert held, at the Grand Ballroom IICC Darling Harbour in honor of the United Nations International Day of People with Disability.
The event’s mission was to bring together Australia’s most exceptional artists to create a harmonious and inclusive experience that proves talent knows no boundaries.
Mulwala Public School teacher Michelle Rosmulder described the overall performance as an electrifying evening of music and unity with the spotlight on Australia’s top talents, sharing one stage to champion inclusion and diversity on this momentous occasion.
“Our four students were excellent and applauded for their performance. They did Mulwala Public School proud.”
