Summer fun, on and off the water

While most holiday makers are hitting the water these summer holidays, others are working up a sweat in other ways.

Week two of Deniliquin Stadium’s holiday program attracted about 60 children each day, with the youngsters keeping the instructors on their toes.

The kids participated in several activities including learning basketball skills and gymnastics.

Locals and visitors who have hit the water have been skiing, paddle boarding and even enjoying leisurely barge cruises along the Edward River.
