Support for Neighbourhood Houses

“Neighbourhood Houses are the heartbeat of our towns,” Mr McCurdy said.

“They provide education, connection, and practical support for people of all ages, and they are especially critical in regional communities like Ovens Valley.

“These organisations rely on stable, ongoing funding to plan, staff and deliver programs that locals depend on.

“Cutting their funding puts vulnerable people at risk and undermines the strength of our communities.”

Mr McCurdy called on the Victorian Government to immediately reverse the cuts and commit to secure, long-term funding for Neighbourhood Houses across regional Victoria.
