Yarrawonga Police are investigating a serious incident after two unknown offenders entered a home in Todd St and assaulted a 56-year-old man who needed to be hospitalised.
The incident happened on May 31 at 8.30 in the morning and police are appealing for information from anyone who may have observed unusual behaviour in the area.

Teenager in boot during collision
Six teenagers including one passenger in the boot were detected after a collision with a parked car in Piper Street Yarrawonga last Friday evening, May 30.
A 17-year-old Yarrawonga male was driving north along Coghill Street when he turned left into Piper Street.
The driver, who had only received his licence the day before, was spoken to by Yarrawonga Police and issued with a penalty notice for exceeding peer passengers and having a passenger unrestrained.
Police are further investigating the collision with the car.
