A few changes in the main break and the girls tried to work hard to get back into the game but Numurkah did not slow to allow this.
Felicity Thomas played her first game in A grade for Tungamah, coming on at half time.
She played a holding style of play which made it easy for Sharnie Walden and Vic Bruce to feed into her. Abbey Griffin, Ella Jones and Ally Cooper worked hard in the mid court to create turn overs for Tungamah but unfortunately Numurkah was too strong for the Tungamah girls.
Awards: Best on Court and Thyme for Coffee - Victoria Bruce, Tungamah Hotel - Ally Cooper, Judds Award - Felicity Thomas.

Great effort this week by the Bears girls.
Although a loss, their vision was good and the team worked as a whole to get the ball flowing through the thirds to the shooters.
The pressure was good all game with some great passages of play.
The second and third quarters were more competitive and although behind, the girls kept chipping away, attacking and intercepting, deflecting and rebounding.
With heads held high they saw the game out with a respectful 35 goals to their credit.
Well done girls.

A slow start to the game saw Numurkah take a strong 9 goal lead at quarter time.
All players settled in the second quarter and with some fantastic defence from Kait, Josie and Amber, excellent driving in the mid court from Brooke, Bridget, Bernadette and Olivia and accurate shooting from Leanne and Danielle saw the girls play the rest of the game the Tungamah way and the final margin was only 14 goals.
Leanne played a full game as well as taking a quick rest on the bench after a fantastic effort to keep the ball in.
The team are putting in the hard work at training and it is paying off on the court.

The girls had some spring in their step this week, extra bounce to go for those rebounds and get the intercepts.
Anna and Vanessa were awesome in wing defence with a lot of taps and intercepts, shutting down a strong opponent and being a backup down the court.
Sheryl and Dan put pressure on down the court when it got turned over, fighting to get it back.
Dan and Britt fed well into the ring again this week with great passages of play.
This week the driving to the ball was much better giving better options to pass to.
Apart from Sally’s little “lay down” she was unstoppable.
The team love how much effort Sally gives each week and support for her teammates.

Fabulous win by the Tungamah girls this week. Pressure applied throughout the game by all team members, with lots of talking.
The girls created space and were able to position themselves well in and around the goal circle and hold in defence.
Midcourt fed the ball up and down the thirds, backing each up and feeding strong passes to the shooters.
The girls lead all game, and at half time held a strong lead of 27 goals to 6.

The mini Bears went in this week with a depleted side due to illness and unfortunately the winning streak is over.
The Bears welcomed back and thank Charli C and Kiera B for filling in again, both girls showing great skill that Tungamah hope to see permanently next year.
As always the girls smiled and fought till the end and they should all be proud of their efforts.
