Yarrawonga Mulwala Lakers’ bowler Will Sharp was brought into the attack and took two vital wickets to bring the game back into the balance.

The Metro team continued to lose wickets and at 9/132 a very difficult catch went to hand but didn’t stick which showed the game could have gone either way. Metro eventually passed the Vic Country total in what ended up being a very interesting contest.
Vic Country was skippered well by Casey, who made 69 for the Lakers last Saturday before the long night trip to Ballarat. Casey rang in the bowling changes to give his side every chance of victory.
It was an enthralling game and one that the Yarrawonga/Mulwala representatives enjoyed being part of.
