Then head down to the Yarrawonga Showgrounds this Saturday, November 7, for the Katamatite Vintage Tractor and Engine Club’s annual Vintage Tractor Pull.
Starting at 10.30 am and running through to mid-afternoon, vintage tractors dating from the 1920s through to the 1970s are put to the test as they pull their hardest to reach the end of the track and take home the prizes.
Expect plenty of engine noise, clouds of black smoke and some good old-fashioned horsepower as these hardworking old machines show what they can do
There’s a static display of vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles alongside the action.
It’s a great opportunity to get up close to some wonderful old machinery and enjoy a trip down memory lane.
No need to head home for lunch, there’s catering on the day.
With plenty to see and enjoy for all ages, it promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
Entry is free, with donations gratefully accepted.
