Moderate flooding is occurring at Corowa, where river levels peaked on Saturday, October 1.
The river level at Albury and Corowa will vary based on releases from Hume Dam and floodwaters from the Kiewa River.
Flood operations are being conducted by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) at Hume Dam to manage inflows from the upper Murray, Mitta Mitta River and other tributaries.
MDBA are working closely with the Bureau and WaterNSW to plan release strategies.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday into Sunday, which may lead to further river level rises. Predictions will be revised as rainfall is observed.
The Murray River at Corowa is currently at 6.12 metres and steady, with moderate flooding.
