Thursday 27 - 11 players participated in a very tight competition seeing three players finishing on 14 hoops apiece, with Heather Oliver, Laurelle Spring and Nancy Brooks finishing just ahead of Janet Rosser on 13 hoops after two games.
Friday 28 - saw 26 players take to the courts in near perfect weather, shades of things to come with autumn just around the corner! The club is very pleased with the number of new members and visitors coming to the club and Friday saw many joining in the session, taking in the surrounds and the helpful hints for play improvement.
Anyone can come along and try out the game.
The courts are accessible to all abilities and beginners are welcomed!
Friday is the best day to “come and try” a game, enjoy a cup of coffee and make new friends. There is a cost of $4 which covers both games and coffee, the equipment is provided as is free instruction and guidance during the session.
The club is located on the grounds of the golf club and members look forward to seeing you there.
Saturday 29 - was another terrific session with 18 players competing across two games and congratulations to one of the newest players as winner, Karen Conduit making 20 of a possible 26 hoops.
Demonstrating again how close play was on Saturday, runner-up was Rhonda Wheeler making 19 hoops in a very close finish. Well done Rhonda.
Remember, it is fine to play only one game so don’t let lack of time or fitness levels be a barrier. Please come along as regularly as you can, bring friends and visitors and enjoy the game.
