Thursday, November 7th - congratulations go to Heather Oliver who won second division of the Monthly Medal singles play competition.
Friday, November 8th - saw 17 players join in with Lois Fiddes the winner on 18 hoops and Marilyn Albert the runner up on 16 hoops.
Saturday, November 9th - was a close finish with three players making 15 hoops each, congratulations to Kay Hanrahan, Val Yendle and Nancy Brooks.
Tuesday, November 12th - we had 18 players on court and a very closely contested session with Nancy Brooks finishing on 18 hoops, just ahead of Cheryl O’Dwyer and Lesley Dean who made 17 hoops apiece.
Thursday, November 14th - we had 5 players compete and congratulations go to Cheryl O’Dwyer for making 17 hoops ahead of Barb Haigh as runner-up on 14 hoops.
Friday, November 15th - saw 19 players once again enjoying the games with Anne Byrne and Brian Archer finishing equal first on 18 hoops each.
Saturday, November 16th - we had 19 players again on court with Chris Lloyd winning on 17 hoops, followed very closely as equal runners-up by Kaye Black and Barb Haigh making 16 hoops each.
On Thursday 14th a number of members travelled to Benalla to take part in a day of social play and congratulations go to Yarrawonga club member Shirley Fowler who was the winner on the day.
Most weeks, members are travelling to play at surrounding clubs which is an excellent way to gain more experience and further enjoy the social aspects of croquet.
Yarrawonga croquet club is hosting a social day on Tuesday, December 10th.
Play is followed by a Christmas lunch and details are available from the club, so come along and join in.
